N64 Converter to HDMI

N64 is notorious for its difficulty in setting up on a modern TV among all the other retro consoles. RCA Composite and SCART Ports

This is a very common and cheap way to connect your TV to an N64. Find your HDTV's RCA composite or SCART ports. To use the SCART port, you'll need an RCA to SCART converter. All you have to do is connect your RCA cable to the composite connectors or SCART port.

Another way is to connect the console with the antenna port. After that just tune in the N64 console to one of your TV channels. If your TV doesn't have an RCA composite or SCART port, use the component port or the Antenna in port.

S-video to HDMI converter

If you are looking for cheaper options to do your work, you should go for this option. Get yourself a composite to HDMI also known as RCA to HDMI converter. You can easily find some cheap options on different online sites. Although, the video quality isn't very good with this option.

You'll experience lag and colour bleeding by using these adapters. The reason behind this is that they'll not be able to effectively convert the signals.

Ultra-HDMI Mod

This Ultra-HDMI mod for N64 consoles is currently in production. After it has been introduced, it would be the most ideal way to connect your new TVs to the Nintendo 64. This is not cheap in any way and you'll have to install the mod in the system professionally. This will cost a little more than any other option.
